How to get to Loth

By Car

Loth is easy to reach from the south. It is about I hour drive north of Inverness on the A9, heading towards Wick.

By Bus

Loth has good bus links with Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth & Stirling, chiefly because it is en route to the ferries on the north coast which go to Orkney. A typical return fare from Perth is £28.90 and there are 4 buses per day. Tel Citylink enquiries on: 08705 50 50 50.

By Train

Loth does not have its own train station however there are stations at Helmsdale And Brora which are 4 and 7 miles away respectively. There are many bargain ticket deals between the main cities and Inverness. For example an Apex return fare between Stirling and Inverness is £21 and a group of 3 or 4 can travel from Glasgow or Edinburgh to Inverness for only £45 return!
